Putting the shine on your attraction niche
By: Terri Zwierzynski | Leave a comment

This past week, I’ve been reminded again why defining your niche is so important — and how worrying about "the competition" just gets in the way.
We’ve been having this lively discussion on the Multiple Streams of Coaching Income* membership mailing list. Early in the discussion, I noticed the way another coach was describing his niche made it sound an awful lot like MY niche. (I even got sucked into the competitive-thinking vortex for a few moments — yes I KNOW better but old MBA habits die hard!)
Then as the discussion progressed, the other coach started using a few phrases to fine-tune his description, that just didn’t feel right to me. "That’s not how I would describe it!" The difference? As the conversation went on, he got bolder in his language — and closer to the real passion he feels for his niche. And, more attractive to his niche.
A-ha!
Old-hat? Sure. But somehow, every time I get that old hat out and buff it a little, it gets a little more shiny.
It’s not about the business - it’s about the lifestyle. < work in progress!
