Take your top ten article (http://www.discninja.com/wordpress/?p=12), and turn this into a Tip of the Day for your voice mail. If you have a phone system that will allow you to have multiple mailboxes then you can set up your voice mail to say something like “To speak with Susan press 1. To listen to the tip of the day, press 2.”

TIP: If your phone system doesn’t allow for multiple mailbox options you can change the tip of the day simply by recording a new message every day or two. This is easy to do If you write your message out and leave by your phone.

Change your tip of the day every 2 days for 20 days. Once the 20 days is over, evaluate the process, and make adjustments as needed. If you are having great response, you can set up a separate phone line, simply for the purpose of a “Tip of the Day.”

Examples:
Hair Stylist: “Hi, this is Dan Smith of DSW Hair Designs. The tip of the day is how to fight frizzy hair. Avoid washing and blow-drying your hair every day, as this strips your locks of its natural oils. I also recommend that a cream conditioner be applied every second day and that you take the time to apply a deep conditioning one time per month. Real Estate Broker: “Greetings! This is Barbara Jones with Jones Realty. The tip of the day is around creating a wish list for the home you most want to buy.
