“People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”

Your clients want to know that as the business owner they are working with, you care very much about their lives.  One of the best ways to build loyal customers is to keep a file of birthdays, anniversaries, milestones, and special events (graduations, weddings, Bar Mitzvahs) and call the customer on these special days to say “Congratulations…I am thinking of you on this special day.”

To get you started with building customer loyalty, we would like for you to visit www.birthdayalarm.com and set up a free account.  Send a request to your clients, colleagues, family and friends to be added to your birthday reminder system.   This gesture will send the message to folks that you care and that you are thinking about them on a very special day in their lives.   You can add anniversaries and other special occasions as well.

You will then be sent email reminders a set time before each birthday or other occasion.  Mine arrive five days before the event, leaving me time to get a card or present in the mail if I choose, or to send them an eCard.  I can also make a note in my calendar to call on their special day.

I use www.sendoutcards.com/7127, which is a great service for sending actual greeting cards through the mail.  Email cards are great, but nothing stands out like receiving e personal greeting through the mail.  In addition, Send Out Cards offers a wide variety of gift items (food, candy, books, etc) that are easily added to the card.  There is a huge selection of cards available, not to mention that you can create your own cards, including adding photos, to truly personalize your message.
