I know I shouldn’t be surprised.

It makes perfect sense when you think about it.

Yet I can’t help being surprised and thrilled when I get the message, for the umpteenth time, that when you’re connected to Source, when you’re plugged in to your Guidance, there’s always MORE and MORE and MORE … even if you’re already experiencing outrageous abundance, wisdom, love and joy.

But it makes sense, doesn’t it?

If you’re fully connected to the Source of all inspiration, energy, creativity, insight, wisdom, passion, love, and joy … well, there is always an endless supply. There’s always MORE!

Happiness is often thought of as a state of mind. This assumption is both right and wrong. It is right because when you are happy, you usually have happy thoughts in your mind. You have a positive outlook and your mood is generally elevated. Your outlook on life is one of hope and abundance.

I started by saying the assumption that happiness is a state of mind is both right and wrong. How can it be wrong? If it were just a state of mind, you should be able to will yourself happy at anytime? You should be able to go through life with an eternal smile upon your face, just by willing yourself to be that way. Logically, this does not make sense.

When you have some tragedy befall you in life, you will feel emotions such as sadness, despair, fear or anger. It is not possible to just feel happy. Have you ever heard someone say, “Stop being depressed, just be happy.” So while, happiness is part of the equation, it is not the whole equation. There must be something more.

Do you know the quickest way to build your financial empire? It’s not by saving, investing, or getting a second job. Nor is it by anything dishonest or unethical. It’s by giving, sharing, or tithing. That’s right, giving money to organizations, and causes that you value personally, especially those in your own community, is the fastest way for prosperity to grow.

“How can this be?” I hear you wondering. “If I gave my money away I’ll have less of it!” Well, the answer is … yes and no. Yes you will initially be using the funds that you have, but no because you will gain more than you gave away. How? Prosperity occurs because the universe takes care of you for your selfless generosity. Some of the wealthiest people in the world, both past and present, created more wealth for themselves by tithing to others. Look at Oprah. How much money has her Angel Network given away to date? For years Oprah has tithed a portion of her income, often anonymously, yet her wealth continues to grow and her life seems abundant.

As a society we often forget how powerful our words can be. We are occasionally reckless or too quick to speak when we should take time to think about the consequences of our words. We are taught from childhood to think before we act, but sometimes neglect to think before we speak!

Not to worry, this can be a thing of the past by learning the art of ‘Speaking with Integrity.’ Integrity is defined as ‘the quality of possessing and steadfastly adhering to high moral principles or professional standards.’ Isn’t that an awesome definition? Right away, it elevates the position of the speaker to a place where he/she is responsible for caring about how their communication is going to be received. For example, if you frequently tell jokes or stories that are a little ‘unfitting,’ when integrity is embraced, your jokes will conflict with the ‘high moral principles’ aspect, and maybe even the ‘professional standards’ part depending on where your jokes are being told. Wow, how is that for immediate responsibility acceptance? Want to try it out?

Love and Passion … are two words that bring to mind deep feelings for something or someone. For instance, the type of feelings that begins in the pit of your stomach and radiate outward, exuding brilliance, warmth, and joy. Do these words represent how you feel about your job and or position in life? The majority of the population, two-thirds in fact, is always seeking new employment. Which means that at any given time 67of the United States population is experiencing job dissatisfaction, and all of the baggage that accompanies this epidemic.

How does one find a job, career, or lifestyle that they are passionate about and would love to live? It begins by looking within. Sometimes the paths that are chosen are not a reflection of who we are, but of circumstance. Take Genie for instance. She works in one of the largest financial districts in the world, makes a fantastic salary, but is quite unhappy. While in college she was torn between becoming a business major or music major. Sadly, the choice was made for her when her parents decided that they would not pay for her education if she pursued a music curriculum. For several years she has wondered “what if”; to this day whenever she hears a favorite musical composition, a feeling of peace washes over her. By looking within Genie knows that her passion is not being fulfilled. And she’s fortunate because she has an inside track on what does fuel her passion.

Talk seems to be plentiful about “getting real” and “keeping it real” these says. But what exactly does that mean? One of the definitions of the word real is “being or occurring in fact or actuality; not imaginary or ideal.” So basically, the talk is about dealing with what actually exists and not putting a happy spin on things. While it is definitely a good idea to know what is going on around you, being real is not the complete solution. Striving for your ideal, your passion, and your purpose — is. Comprehension of the present situation helps lay the foundation for the ideas that follow, but your present is just that. Dreams are imaginary until you’ve put action and purpose to them to make them become realities. A goal is nothing more than that until it has been achieved.

Since I believe we CAN have whatever we truly want, I asked for my own Guidance…clearly, audibly and over time, I discovered how to open to my Higher Self, release doubt and resistance and become a receptive, clear channel of my inner Guidance.

Do you remember the saying, ‘everything I needed to know about life I learned in kindergarten?’ Well, I won’t say everything, but definitely a few really key lessons can be learned from the five and under set. One of the most important ones is the wide-eyed wonder and delight that children seem to be able to find in almost everything, every minute of every day, day after day. As adults we often do not appreciate the enormity of this wide-eyed sense of adventure. In fact we often find it tiresome, but take a moment to truly ponder what it would be like to look forward to each and every day with so much excitement that sleep is like punishment. Can you imagine how different your days would become?

Are you stuck? Stuck trying to rework a project or looking for the “perfect” solution? Stuck searching for the latest brainstorm, new business idea, or product stream? Are you stuck waiting for that “light bulb moment” that will pull all of the pieces together in their rightful place? Well, so are a lot of other people. As a whole, we spend a great deal of time being stuck, waiting to find “perfect,” and making ourselves stressed and miserable in the process. Why? Because we think that it’s our job to find the solution. When it’s not our place, at all, to find the answers, it’s simply our job to allow the answers to come to us. Yes, it really is that easy, we just tend to complicate the process because we’re conditioned to presume that the search must be difficult.

Have you ever gone to bed with something weighing on your mind, only to dream the solution? Ever wonder why? Well, it was the universe waiting until your brain was quiet and your mind was receptive enough to receive the answer and recognize it as the solution to what you were seeking. What about going to bed at night and just waking up with the answer having not even remembered dreaming? Do you see how powerful the universe is? And long as it is allowed, the answers will follow with much more ease than by struggling to find them.
