When you are just starting out, there can be a lot of fear about where money is going to come from and how you’ll find clients. I understand this because back in the beginning, I lived through it too. So I went back and documented everything I did that worked and created the Quick Start Guide.
One of the gems in that start up program is to write a congratulatory card to yourself about how much money you want to earn each month, the number of clients you need and how you’ll feel when this happens.
I recommend crafting a few positive statements about what you want to happen, but make sure you write everything in present tense so it sounds like you are living it right now. Then type this on your computer in a font that looks script-like, as if it’s someone else’s handwriting. Don’t skip this step because it does make a difference to receive a card that’s not in your own handwriting. Then paste it in a card, put it in an envelope, address it to yourself and mail it.

As entrepreneurs, we move quickly in business. We make decisions more quickly than most. We are spontaneous and we have the technology at our fingertips to assist us even further.
But there are times in life and business, when we need to take a step back, slow down and think it through more carefully than usual, especially during those rare times of national, even global crisis. For us as a company, that has happened twice in late 2012 with two tragedies that hit very close to home here in Connecticut, where Client Attraction.com is headquartered.
Six new guidelines to doing business with dignity, integrity and respect during times of tragedy.

For many entrepreneurial women with children at home, your working time is limited. Given this restriction, how do you balance the children, household tasks and work to keep your business growing?
One thing I know from having three children and a business is that it is a Catch-22. It’s hard to bring in more clients and more money when you don’t have the support. You need some type of child care. Yet it’s hard to afford childcare when you don’t have more clients and money coming in, right?
What I’ve experienced in my own life is that I need a single focus. What I mean is – when I’m with my clients they have to be my focus and when I’m with my children my attention must be with them. Any time you do anything less, you’re cheating one or the other which is never a good feeling or very productive.

Do you feel there is something in the way of earning a living from using your talents? Some of my clients struggle with making money based on doing what they call “God’s work”. There is this conflicting feeling among many people doing spiritual and healing work that they shouldn’t make money this way or that they should give this work away.
Or, perhaps you’ve been doing all the mindset work, thinking “I want money, I want clients, I want money, I want clients…” but it’s not coming to you. And you are not generating the income you want and need to cover your expenses and live well.
If you’re not taking action or getting the results you want, my advice is that you have to go inside and look at what is the sabotaging culprit. It’s time to look at your beliefs and fears. The first step is to write down all the beliefs you have around money.

I just recently posted a quote about fear on my Facebook page, that got a big response. The quote goes like this, “The key to success is for you to make a habit throughout your life of doing the things you fear.” We all have fears that stop us in business—fear of rejection, fear of failure, fear of success, fear of humiliation, fear of criticism, fear of the unknown—you get the idea.
The list can go on for miles. As you probably know, I’ve worked with thousands of entrepreneurs and I witness how they stop themselves by allowing fear and self-doubt to keep them ‘playing small’ in their business and their lives. The thing is, they’re often not even aware of it. Here’s what I mean… People SAY they want something very badly, that they want a change, and theoretically, that they’d do anything to get it.
“Entrepreneurs often allow fear and self-doubt to keep them ‘playing small’ in their business and lives.”

There’s a famous quote by Arthur Ashe that reads: “From what we get, we can make a living; what we give, however, makes a life.”
Today’s video strategy is about triggering the law of circulation by giving. And you may be wondering, what does giving have to do with Client Attraction and making more money. Well, I’ve discovered that it has everything to do with building your business quickly.
“In business the more we give, the more we attract. It’s a Universal Law.”
I promise you, once you start incorporating the Law of Circulation in your own business, you’ll witness a boomerang effect of abundance coming back to you ten-fold! Let me know your thoughts below and if you’ve already experienced how giving has shifted your business for the better, please share your experiences here!

January 27th, 2013 It’s Time
Wow, I’ve been really, really touched by the feedback on my last couple of emails, the ones about me coming out of the “spiritual closet” and how transforms a business for good. Thanks for all the loving comments and your patience while I shot the video I promised about the workshop I’m doing in May that will show you how you can absolutely be spiritual and make a lot of money
Here’s the video I promised (just click on the image to watch it now, as it is time-sensitive):

For many years, I felt like I was hiding this big secret from my clients and I was really scared to tell anyone about it.
I thought, “If they really knew what I do in my business, they’ll think I wasn’t professional or credible anymore.”
It was like being stuck between a rock and a hard place, not feeling like I could *ever* tell all these thousands of people the truth of who I really am, terrified to be found out, and at the same time, feeling it was unbearable to be anything other than who I really am.
But as you know, what you resist persists. And the pain of not being my most authentic self became more painful than my fear of being seen as completely unprofessional.

As entrepreneurs, we move quickly in business. We make decisions with breakneck speed. We implement in the blink of an eye. We innovate. We execute. We tend to be nimble, spontaneous, and mission driven. As entrepreneurs, it’s part of who we are—and we have the technology at our fingertips to assist us even further.
But there are times in life and business, when we need to take a step back, breathe, slow down—and think it through more carefully than usual—especially during those rare times of national, even global crisis. For us, that has happened twice in just the last two months with two national tragedies that hit very close to home here in Connecticut, where Client Attraction.com is headquartered.
Both times—first during Hurricane Sandy (one of the most severe storms to ever hit the East Coast) then again during the Newtown shootings (one of the deadliest school shootings in history), our nation experienced deep heartbreak as we watched our fellow citizens endure pain and severe loss. And both times over that short span of two months, we as a small company with clients to serve, employees to support and year-end goals to meet, were in the middle of a major business launch.

Just checking in to see how you are after Hurricane Sandy… it’s pretty bad out here. I just did a quick video in the front yard letting you (and other friends and family) know how we’re faring and what’s going on with us. The winds here were the strongest I’ve ever seen (totally crazy) but, most importantly, I want to see how you’re doing and send you my prayers and love.
OK, let me know and be safe…
In the video I share an important announcement about our Mindset Training program that’s happening. Please watch the video here.
