When you are in business doing what you love, it is natural to fall in love with your clients and their projects. When they put their projects out into the world and make a difference, you cannot help but feel proud of them. Their projects remind you of your contribution, the difference you are making and the important work you are doing in the world.
By the time they hire you they are ready for change. You don’t get attached to their success or rescue them into achieving. You believe in their ability and personal power to make a change in their lives. You hold the vision, believe in them, support them with your insights while they create their own ‘ah… ha!’ moments. You work in synchronicity and miracles unfold.
When they are excited about their work, about your relationship with them, they become a very important part of your life and that’s when falling in love with a client happens.

I have been paying close attention to the news about the economic crisis and listening to the deeper reasons. I couldn’t help becoming aware of the new books, Slow Love and Unfinished Business recently brought to fame by Oprah. They are the stories of two executives and how they built their lives after the economic crisis and how the economic crisis made it possible for them to face deeper truths.
I sincerely believe that there is something to be learned by the economic crisis. Perhaps a new understanding of the most important things in life, things we may not have been paying attention to prior to the crisis. We are now invited to do meaningful work that we love. When the security of having a set income goes away, we are free to choose our own path and writing our own destiny. That’s why many of people have finally chosen to follow the path of entrepreneurship, doing what they love after the economic crisis left them jobless.

This photo is taken with Terri Zwierzynski who is the President of Solo-E, an online community that supports entrepreneurs to market their businesses over the internet. Terri is part of the Abundance in Marketing Mindset group-coaching class that I am currently teaching. Co-incidentally Terri came to Vancouver for the World Thought Leader Conference, while we were in the middle of the program and I had the great privilege of meeting her during her lunch break at the hotel.
Igniting the Energy
Last month I spoke about intention. Creating an intention has always been a comfortable concept for me because it uses feminine energy. A focused intention that is born out of being in the flow of life, listening to your soul and capturing that energy in alignment with the natural rhythm of life, allows for miracles in the process of creating a successful business or a personal life.

I have exciting news to share with you. I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on March 10th. We are excited to welcome him to our family. I am even more excited that I have a business and lifestyle that allows me to spend plenty of time with my little one and still pursue my creativity. I feel so blessed!
I had the easiest delivery I could imagine. I got to experience my divine feminine strength during the process of delivering my child. My intention to experience my divine feminine energy took over my fear of labour.
Evidence of Abundance
Here are the steps to creating an abundant experience in every situation, be it a business project or something more personal.

At the beginning of a retreat, before I get into my project, I usually pick up a magazine and look at beautiful jewelry or home décor to inspire my senses with beauty. Beauty helps me tap into my creativity. Similarly, one can get inspiration from nature and the beauty that is all around us: flowers, greenery and waterfalls. Last week, during my retreat at the library I picked up the current issue of Femina magazine and I loved the message of the editorial:
Think Outside the Box
Editor Tanya Chautaya’s message, Don’t know about you, I am done with logic, made me stop to read the editorial before going any further. She gave several examples of people who had created projects in unconventional ways and who took chances that critics would have said wouldn’t work. But work they did. These people thought outside the box and defied logic.

To create unlimited abundance, we need to tap into the source that resides within us. I help creative female entrepreneurs tap into their creativity and access their inner reserve of abundance. The connection with their inner goddess is a source of wisdom. They learn to slow down, listen to their intuition and take internally inspired action. Slowing down allows us to tune into the sensitive side of ourselves, to soak in the wonders and beauty of nature and to be inspired by new ideas and ways of doing business.
There are many tools used to get in touch with our intuitive goddess of creativity. One of my favorites is to book a daily Creative Mini-Retreat for myself. Every morning before I switch on my computer to catch up with emails or attend to my appointments, I go out for half an hour for what I call my creative self-reflection. It is a Creative Mini-Retreat I do for me.

Previously I have spoken about intention. Creating an intention has always been a comfortable concept for me because it uses feminine energy. A focused intention that is born out of being in the flow of life, listening to your soul and capturing that energy in alignment with the natural rhythm of life, allows for miracles in the process of creating a successful business or a personal life.
I have learned that once we make a decision and create an intention, the next step is to ignite various energies in our consciousness that can help align our internal energy with the external object of desire.
The easiest way to ignite these energies of creation is to look for someone who already possess them in their consciousness and get into a relationship with that person. Being in an energetic relationship with this person can help you to quicken the process of your own evolution by exchanging the energy you are trying to ignite in yourself, and in turn help you create what you want to create faster!

It is a natural human desire to be liked by other people. Female entrepreneurs may hold themselves back because we don’t want to face the fear of rejection. It doesn’t have to be that way. Hearing ‘no’ is a natural part of doing business. Not everyone wants or needs our services. It’s never personal.
I remember being upset when someone unsubscribed to my newsletters even though the percentage of those opting out was tiny compared to those who were subscribing, opening, reading and responding to my messages. As human beings and entrepreneurs we sometimes overlook the positives. Because we love our creative work we tend to protect it from rejection. It is great to establish safety for ourselves in the beginning of the creative process, provided we don’t allow the safety to prevent us from steeping big when we are ready to do so.

When we want to get to the next level of success in our business, before we take outer action, it is important to make internal changes. These changes will allow us to move forward faster by supporting us to take internally inspired action. There is an abundance of beliefs we hold about ourselves that determine our success or failure.
When making these changes, we need to examine our internal beliefs. If we have limiting beliefs, we first need to clear them before we can succeed. For example, the belief that no one wants what you offer is connected to being able to acknowledge the value of what you offer. Changing this unsupportive belief into “I share my gifts with the world, and the world benefits in these ways…” will support your business success in an immeasurable way.
