How to Avoid the “Too Many Choices, Too Little Time (and Too Little Cash Flow)” Syndrome

Helen Graves

Inspired, heart-centered entrepreneurs like us are often kept dizzy and overwhelmed by our own creativity. It’s a case of too many choices, too little time.

With all the projects, tasks and activities involved in marketing and growing a fun, profitable business, it’s all too easy to find yourself worn out at the end of the day without having many tangible results (like income) to show for it.

As I hear from clients all the time, that usually means money is going out faster than it’s coming in. We can’t have that!

The antidote to this troublesome situation is knowing which projects and activities to pursue and which to ignore (or put on hold).

Where Does Faith Fit In

Eva Gregory

You do not have to be religious to believe in other Laws of the Universe do you? You can choose to ponder who set up these Laws of the Universe, but this is not necessary.

There are similar beliefs between religion and the Law of Attraction.

The greatest similarity is prayer. You ask God for something and he or she will grant it.

The Law of Attraction states when you ask the Universe for what you want, it is brought to you.

The process is slightly different but the results are essentially the same…

The other similarity is the concept of belief or faith. In religious practice you acknowledge that God exists and that you must have faith. In the Law of Attraction, you believe that the Universe will provide for you. The greatest difference is that you do not have to go through an intermediary such as a priest, minister or rabbi. You can ask directly.

How to Deal With Fear Sentelligently

Stacey Mayo

One of the emotions we all experience from time to time is fear — fear of rejection or being humiliated, fear of public speaking, fear of making a mistake or a bad decision or failure, fear of getting in trouble, fear of getting hurt. I could go on and on. When it comes to fear, people generally have one of two responses: Flee (i.e., stop and give up on your current project/endeavor) or suppress the fear and push through it. Neither is Sentelligent  ( utilizing and honoring the intelligence of your six senses). If you allow fear to run your life and stop you from proceeding, your dream won’t become a reality or you’ll never make a decision to go in one direction or another. If you force yourself to push through the fear, likelihood is you will make some progress but it will be hard and fraught with obstacles.

A-ha Moment

Kendall Summerhawk

One of the biggest “A-ha!” moments my 2010 Certified Money, Marketing and Soul Coach training students had the other week was finally “getting” how, in their desire to help/be of service/make a difference they were actually disempowering their clients.

Maybe you can relate to this:

  • Going over — sometimes waaaaayyyy over! — on your coaching sessions
  • Under charging and therefore not challenging your clients to step up and play big
  • Thinking “Who am I?” to offer a new program or product

If this is ringing true for you, let me help you out here…overwhelming people, disregarding your own boundaries or undervaluing your gifts does NOT allow you to help others.

Self-Affirming Beliefs

Kerri Salls

To achieve self-determination, here are ten self- affirming beliefs you can internalize and incorporate in your own life to help bolster your self-acceptance and self-trust. They came from Denis Waitley’s program The New Dynamics of Winning.

1. I control my thoughts, emotions and actions and direct them to improve the quality of my health, my relationships, my performance, and my life.
2. I am a good, valuable, and worthy person.
3. I am fully capable of achieving the goals that I set for myself today.
4. I trust my abilities and my judgment in taking risks that will test my limits, willing to live with the consequences and rewards of my decisions.
5. I am responsible for the values by which I live.

Stretch Goals

Kendall Summerhawk

I realize that we’re already past the season of goal setting but I can’t resist sharing a tip with you that I think you’ll value and appreciate.

Every year, I set three “stretch” goals. These are goals that I know I can reach BUT require that in some way I shift my paradigm. This is how I keep growing my soul along with my success.

My stretch goals typically include:

  • How much money I want to celebrate having in the bank at the end of the year (this helps me think bigger and quickly gets me past any fear that might come up, such as the “who am I” syndrome)
  • How much I want to grow my list (this gets me to stretch out of my comfort zone, pick up the phone and create new JV opportunities)
  • One area of running my business that I want to master (this motivates me to streamline and delegate, eliminating any “I’m not doing enough” thoughts that might crowd my happiness)

The Hardest Task of Growing a Business – It Isn’t What You May Expect

Helen Graves

The hard work of being an entrepreneur isn’t building a list, developing a website, becoming adept at sales, or any of the other day to day tasks involved in running a business.

The true challenge is dealing with the inner issues that get triggered as you step into the new identity required to lead a thriving 6- and 7-figure service-based business. This is not a playground for sissies, I’ll tell you. The name-calling, the back-stabbing, the insults – and that’s just from our own Inner Critic!

I’ve said for years that your business will only grow as fast and as far as you do. And I sincerely believe that. It’s just one of those things that’s easier said than done.

Visualization to Reach Your Business Goals

Loren Fogelman

Being able to see yourself confidently achieving your goal is really important. Visualization is an excellent tool for your success. The greater your mindset for achievement, the greater your potential for success.

When I first started my practice, Mindset for Marketing Success, I listened to a telesummit which focused on marketing. There was so much information and most of it was new to me. I was stepping into a whole new world. This event was a turning point in my career.

I was inspired and knew I wanted to create a telesummit at some point. Instead of becoming overwhelmed with this goal and wondering how I was going to do it, I set an intention to do whatever was necessary to eventually reach my goal. There was so much I didn’t know how to do yet, but I knew it was all possible.

Growth Knows No Limits

Eva Gregory

Isn’t it true that everyone has a goal? Some may dream of wealth, some of travel, some of dedicating their lives to service others, whatever the goal … it is human nature to have something to “aim for.” If you were asked, “How willing are you to take whatever steps necessary to achieve your personal and/or professional goals?” What would your answer be? Are you willing to change your perceptions, learn new things, and embrace new ideas?

Are you willing to grow in order to grasp your brass ring?

In human resources management, the buzz word “KSAs” has been quite popular. It stands for knowledge, skills, and abilities. These are the things that make employees attractive to employers, and propel them up the ladder to success. Are your knowledge, skills, and abilities up to date? Many people rely on existing skills to get them where they want to be, without thinking to update skills, research new technologies, or perfect their delivery. What are some of the things in your life that could stand a little refreshing, updating, or attention?

Let’s Light Up the World Together!

Marnie Pehrson

I’m totally psyched about our Light the Word: Birthing Your Destiny retreat coming up in April! This is just the beginning of bringing together a phenomenal group of talented women who are going to literally transform this planet! Just this week, I’m witnessing the miracles that happen when women put their talents, resources and gifts together! It’s incredible!

The old paradigm that said, “I’ve got to do everything myself” or “If she’s that talented, why should I bother?” is out the window, my friends! The future is about working together synergistically and allowing miracles to happen. That’s what this event is all about — bringing talented women together and watching God work miracles through us!
