Many of my clients come to me having already taken a course on branding or even worked with a coach to craft their brand. Usually this involves defining their target market, niche, and maybe even how they are unique in the market place.
These 3 things are certainly important to your brand, but there is a lot more to the story that you need to consider.
Your target market, your niche, and your differentiating factor all make up your brand position and it is beyond important to have these clearly defined for a few reasons:
- To keep you focused in your marketing and confidently share your message.
- Your target audience knows you are the best coach to serve them.
- You can become known for what you do.
Even with all of these things combined there is still one thing that will determine whether or not a prospect hires you and that is: Your Brand Perception.
And this is what most business coaches miss, because it’s not ALL about having a clear message. You also need to be perceived as being the best credible option for your prospects to hire.© Copyright 2013 Holly Chantal
