The Coach & Mentor Group. My driving motivation is to help other people get to where they want to be.
Before starting The Coach & Mentor Group, I had been in the financial services industry in various leadership positions in Operations. What I loved about that line of work was finding efficiencies and ways to be more productive without adding to the bottom line. It was a great career and I was blessed with many opportunities for professional advancement. What I loved even more was helping the people on my team get to their next level. I always said that the best measure of my success was when a team member left my group to move on to something bigger and better.
Now I have the best of all worlds – I am an entrepreneur (something I never thought I could do), I get to use my operational strengths of strategy, planning and action, and I get to help other’s get to where they want to be by showing them how to apply the principles of Vision, Goals, Focus, Action into their lives.
My style of coaching is very systematic. It all starts with Vision (your vision, not mine). Once your vision is in place it is a matter of taking the right steps consistently. The programs and materials I create are based on my own philosophy which has been developed over years of studying, reading, taking classes, going to seminars and applying them successfully in my own life. All of the success principles I use in my practice are principles I use in my own life.
In addition to group coaching for small business owners, I deliver corporate workshops on leadership, management, and team building using
DiSC Personality Profiles, and I have an inspiring keynote speech based on the principles of Vision, Goals, Focus, Action and how those helped me go from stay at home mom standing at the door of a battered women’s shelter to a temporary employee to Director of Operations and now entrepreneur business woman.
