If you who don’t yet have a web site you can set up a one page website today.

The easiest way to do this is to go out to your www.godaddy.com account and choose their one page web site product.  From there you will be able to choose a template and enter your information.

Web sites can serve all kinds of purposes, but if you're in business it's advisable to have one, however basic.  If this is your first web site then think of it as an electronic business card.

A one-page website should contain basic information:

   1. Speak directly to your target audience.  Let them know that you "get" them.
   2. A basic description of who you work with by using a compelling client scenario.
   3. A brief description of what you do.
   4. A list of your offerings: Teleclasses, Newsletter, etc.
   5. If you have a vision and mission statement, you can state this as well.
   6. Who you are (a brief biography).
   7. Your contact information and a way for folks to sign up for your mailing list.

Here are some examples of one page web sites that work:

At some point in the future you may, in fact probably will, want a more functional website.  You may even add a shopping cart, real audio, and streaming video.  But for now, you need a web presence.

Enjoy having a web presence!
