So, you’ve just gotten a new client.

Congratulations!  Now, how can you best set the tone for a long, productive and professional relationship?

One way is to have a well thought out and concise Letter of Introduction or Welcome Package.  This is just one of several pieces that you should create.

Here are the all of the elements that will round out your Business Package.

   1. Pricing packages
   2. Letter of introduction or welcome letter
   3. Agreement or Contract

If you would like to see the package that Alicia uses for her coaching business then visit www.discninja.com/coachingpackage.pdf.  This package has evolved over time but has served her well.

You will notice that this package reflects Alicia and her style of coaching.  Your package should do the same for you.  One of the reasons your clients hire you is because of who and how you are.  Don’t shy from that…let it shine!

Today focusing on drafting your Letter of introduction or welcome letter.  The other pieces in Alicia’s Package will be coming up in future articles.  You needn’t tackle it all today.

Then send the letter to 10 people in your local community, announcing the opening of your business and offering a collaborative session.  Include in this letter an article on a topic reflective of your business.

Your letter may evolve as you take feedback from your phone conversations with your prospects and make adjustments.

What are you learning is what people relate to and most attracts them.  It’s time to really listen for consistent questions and responses so that you can best respond (not react) to them.  If you are consistently asked one or two questions ask those questions in your letter, then answer them there as well.  It will make your letter stronger and more effective.
