One of the biggest things that stop people in going forward with their dreams is the fear of the unknown.

Think about it, how many times have you stopped short of action because you didn’t know how things were going to turn out?

Perhaps you imagined how it was going to turn out, but your imagination projected a negative result rather than a positive.

I’ve certainly been there.
I mean really who wants to put a lot of effort into something that may not turn out.

Sound familiar?

But what if you no longer worried about the unknown?
Or what if you moved forward, even if you didn’t know how it was going to turn out?
This would be a good idea, because there is no way for us to really know how things are going to go.  So much is outside of our control.

What? You say, you need to be in control? Ah, yes, we all think we need control, but truly, there is so much we have no control over. Like anything outside of us.

I know you don’t like me saying that but let me give you a simple example.
I could plant a geranium in the ground and follow the instructions perfectly, but I still have no control over Mother Nature.

I cannot control how much sunshine, water, wind, hurricanes, etc.  At one point, I thought I had control over water, but given we have a drought in Atlanta, I don’t have control over how much I am allowed to water.

I bought rain barrels to help with that. But the point is, I could not have known how severe the drought would get and when it would hit but I have dealt with it the best I could.  And I adapted my landscaping to these conditions the best I can.  And yes, some plants died. And I will plant new ones – this time they will be more drought tolerant.

And so things happen in life.  And we cannot predict the outcome. And we adapt as things come up. .

I could put my landscaping on hold because there may or may not be a drought Instead, I will now plant a certain type of seed or plant based on what I have learned and then I will adapt to what comes up that I could not have anticipated and learn from that.

Similarly, we cannot put our dreams on hold, because we cannot anticipate how others will respond, or what unexpected things might go wrong.

Rather, we must follow our hearts.  And if you heart is yearning to do something, then do some research on it but then get going. Take a step forward and know that however it goes, you can and will adapt and learn and grow.

And truly, living your dreams is not about the end result. It is about the person you become along the way as a result of all the growth.

It is about transforming your life to become the person who can live out these dreams.

And even more, it is about becoming peaceful with who you are, no matter what happens or does not happen in your life.

Are you ready to transform yourself to be the person you were always meant to be – the person you already are down deep at your core who was born to live a wonderful life, make a big impact and have an extremely successful business?

Ready to learn some tools to help you be at peace with not knowing? With not knowing which client will leave today and what new wonderful customers may show up tomorrow?
