If you use a spam-filter provided by your ISP, mailing service
or mail reader, you may find your emails from Solo-E blocked.
To make sure that Solo-E.com mail is not deleted or filtered
into a "junk" or "bulk" folder, please
add Solo-E.com to your list of trusted senders/your
address book/contact list (in your e-mail software) and to your
ISP/mail service's whitelist:
news@solo-e.com -or- 208.84.151.224
(if you filter by IP address)

1. Select Cloudmark | Options... from the Cloudmark SpamNet toolbar in Outlook.
2. Click Advanced.
3. Go to the Whitelist tab.
4. Click the Add button.
5. Type: news@solo-e.com

If SoloSecrets is filtered:
1. From the spambox, click on the white "W" icon on the left column of the mailing.
2. When the pop-up window comes up, simply click the Add to Whitelist button.

Version 9.0:
1. Open your latest SoloSecrets e-mail.
2. Click the Add Address button (on the right) to add to your "People I Know" list.
Alternatively, you can just send an e-mail to: news@solo-e.com, and that
will add us to your "People I Know" list automatically. To do this:
1. Open your latest SoloSecrets e-mail.
2. Click the Reply button (it's in the top right corner).
3. A new email window opens with the wrong address in the "Send To" box.
Replace the address in the Send To box with: news@solo-e.com
4. Click Send Now (in the top right corner).
Even if the e-mail you send doesn't get through to us, the act of sending it does
the job of putting us into your "People I Know" list.
Comcast
1. Sign into Webmail.
2. On the left navigation menu, click Address Book.
3. Click Add Contact.
4. Under the General tab, in the box under the Email
Address, enter “news@solo-e.com”.
5. Click the Add button.
6. If you have enabled “Restrict Incoming Email,” also
do the following:
Sign into Webmail.
7. Select Preferences.
8. Select Restrict Incoming Email. Note: If Enable
Email Controls is set to Yes, then
you are restricting incoming emails.
9. Select Allow email from addresses listed below.
10. Enter “news@solo-e.com”.
11. Click the Add button.
Earthlink
1. Click on Address Book (it's over on the left, below your Folders).
2. When your Address Book opens, click the Add button
3. On the Add Contact screen, find the Internet Information box.
4. Enter news@solo-e.com into the top Email box.
5. Click Save.

1. Click on Contacts in the left column.
2. Click on Add Contact on the upper right-hand-side of the Contacts screen.
3. Enter “news@solo-e.com” in the Primary Email field.
4. Click on Save.
Hotmail
1. Click the Options link, on the main menu tabs, then Safe List.
2. Type: news@solo-e.com in your Safe List.
3. If you see a message that should not be in your Junk Mail folder, click
'This is not Junk Mail' to avoid having e-mail from the same source sent to
the Junk Mail folder in the future.
MSN
1. Click on Settings: E-mail | Junk e-mail (it's at the bottom left of the screen, just above Calendar)
2. On the E-mail settings screen, click Junk E-Mail Guard.
3. Select Safe List.
4. In the space provided under "Add people to the safe list", enter news@solo-e.com.
5. Click Add.
SBC Global
1. Go to the SBC Global Mail page and click the Options link.
2. In the Management section, click the Filters link.
3. Click the Add button.
4. In the “From header” rule, in the field to the right of contains,
enter “news@solo-e.com”.
5. From the Move the message to pull-down list, choose inbox.
6. Click the Add Filter button to save the filter.
Verizon.net
1. Go to your Verizon Inbox.
2. Click Options.
3. Select the Block Senders tab (near the top of the screen).
4. On the Block Senders screen, you'll see both a "Block Sender List" and
a "Safe List". In the space where it says "Enter e-mail address or sub
domain to always accept even if the domain is blocked", enter news@solo-e.com.
Yahoo!
1. Open your Yahoo! mailbox.
2. Click Mail Options.
3. Click Filters.
4. Click Add Filter.
5. In the top row, labeled 'From header:' make sure Contains is selected in the pull-down menu.
6. Click in the text box next to that pull-down menu, then enter the address: news@solo-e.com
7. At the bottom, where it says "Move the Message To:" select Inbox from the pull-down menu.
8. Click the Add Filter button again.
If SoloSecrets has been filtered to your "bulk" folder, simply
open the message and click on the "This is not Spam" link next to
the "From" field.
Mozilla Thunderbird
1. Click the Address Book button.
2. Make sure the Personal Address Book is highlighted.
3. Click the New Card button. This will launch
a New Card window that has 3 tabs: Contact, Address and Other.
4. Under the Contact tab, copy and paste the “From” address, “news@solo-e.com” into
the email dialogue box.
5. Click OK.
Outlook 2003
1. Add news@solo-e.com to your Safe List.
2. Add news@solo-e.com to your Personal Contacts in your Outlook Address Book.
3. Open any desired e-mail, then select Mark as Not Junk.
BlackBerrys
1. Scroll up to the message header.
2. Get to the field where their name is listed, click the Berry button
and then click Show Address.
3. Select and copy that address to the clipboard.
4. Go into Address Book and find the user.
5. Select Save.
6. Click to edit it, and then click the Berry button to add another
email address.
7. Paste it in and click Save. |
