Find Time to Start Fresh and Simplify as You Head Toward Spring
Paula Eder - The Time Finder Expert, Founder of Finding Time

Don’t the days feel different now, with the light filling the evenings, and the snow melting away (if you have snow)? This is such an expansive time of year!

Spring is also the epitome of a New Beginning!  Soon birds will be returning from their winter homes, buds will be bursting, windows thrown open, and gardens planted.

Part of making a new beginning involves clearing away the old.  It’s a task that can easily be neglected when life is busy – and one that only builds up and gets more difficult as time goes on.

The Painting
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

Here is an exercise that will help you visualize yourself in the most positive way. Find a comfortable chair and close your eyes. Inhale deeply and slowly, let the air begin to fill up your lungs and feel your chest expanding as a result. Hold the breath for about three seconds and then release slowly, breathing out through your mouth. Repeat this process several more times and then let your breath become slow, fluid and natural.

Now imagine that you are sitting in a large open field where the wild flowers have managed to colonize the grassy expanse all around you and for as far as the eye can see. As you look around, all you can see are the vibrant colors of summer flowers and in the distance, the dense green foliage of woodland trees that frame the field’s edges.

Are You Dressing with Intention?
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

A good friend of mine, Evana Maggiore, author of Fashion Feng Shui, talks about women entrepreneurs dressing with intention.  She suggests that you need to know your  “essential energy” – your authentic natural style – and then identify what is your “intentional energy” – what is the intention you want to communicate, .

This came to mind recently when it snowed in Atlanta. Yes snowed – for ONE whole day we made snowmen!  I was all snuggled inside reading my People magazine -oops! Yes, I confess I really enjoy my “who’s who” and “who’s wearing what!”  I was reading the issue with Michelle Obama and it struck me that while most of the country was having a winter snow storm there she was on the cover in a beautiful pink summer-like dress. Isn’t it still winter in Washington, I thought?   We’re talking “no-sleeves”  tank style. (I know you men are like…what is the relevant point here? Bear with me…)

Stuck – This Can Happen to Me Too
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

Last week in a Success Circle coaching club call I shared the vision secrets I used to break through to 7-figures last year.

On that call I taught my club members what I do if my vision seems to be stalled out. One member laughed and when I asked her why she said, “It’s nice to know that even YOU get stuck too!” I broke out in laughter right along with her.

Because the truth is, I’m no different than you are. I too, feel emotions that can momentarily take me off my path.

Are You Paving Cow Paths or Creating Super Highways?
Sandra P. Martini - Business Growth & Marketing Expert

I’ve noticed a trend with my clients: they’re either struggling to make low 6 figures (say up to $200,000) or they’re at the million dollar mark and beyond.

Why the marked difference in revenue?

In focusing on the struggling 6-figure entrepreneur, the answers are as simple as they are complex:

  1. Many are “stuck” in the $50,000 – $80,000 revenue range – after all, this is what they previously thought was a “good” income from a, dare I say it, J O B and so is what they’re comfortable with
  2. Most haven’t yet learned how to leverage themselves and so are trying to do it all themselves without benefit of a strong infrastructure

You Got to Keep Doing It
Michele Pariza Wacek (Michele PW) - Love-Based Biz Strategist and Copywriter

“You got to keep doing it,” Maddie, my packmate said.

Recently, I had decided to start asking around for a business coach. I realized I needed a business coach after losing my steam about creating a business. I had wanted to get the word out about obedience classes being for humans, not dogs. I thought dogs would be beating down the door to drag their humans to obedience classes.

The squirrel told me the quails could help me find a business coach, but so far the quails weren’t letting me approach them, much less talk to them.

Finding Time with Blog Talk Radio and Some Quick Computer Basics
Paula Eder - The Time Finder Expert, Founder of Finding Time

I hope you’re finding time for a wonderful Cyber Monday!  It was a beautiful, spring-like weekend here in New Hampshire, capped (for me) by an interview last night with Connie Ragen Green on her Blog Talk Radio show.  You can listen to it here, if you like! We explored the topic of finding time to create an on-line business while working full time.

The interview with Connie was a fascinating experience, and if you don’t know about it already, Blog Talk radio is both a powerful tool and a great source of information in lots of different areas.  Here’s the Blog Talk Radio homepage – where you can sign up for a free account, create a radio show, and search for particular shows, subject areas, or experts that interest you.  I recommend that you take some time to explore Blog Talk Radio!  I am certainly looking forward to working more with this great online resource!

5 Website Marketing Mistakes to Avoid
Marty Marsh - Follow-Up & Stay-In-Touch Marketing Strategist

John Robinson of JWRmedia had a very interesting — and very appropriate — post at his blog recently regarding the five big marketing mistakes that website/blog owners make.

He poses the question, “Why are there so many unsuccessful websites when others continue to flourish?” and goes on to say that much of the reason can be traced back to poor marketing.

Most business people still seem to have the notion that “if you build it they will come.” This way of thinking was bad enough before the days of the internet, but now that we have the internet — with most of us seeking ways to earn our living online — people really do seem to believe that simply having a website is about all they need.

A Shining Example of Authentic Power: Michelle Obama
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

From this month’s O magazine in describing Oprah’s interview with Michelle Obama:

Authentic power. It happens when purpose aligns with personality to serve the greater good.

I love that. Very clear. Very powerful.

How are you doing embracing YOUR authentic power?

What does that look like for you?

I’d love to know!  Please leave a comment~

En-Joy!
