Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

Many small business owners have a common problem with their marketing.

It falls flat. And no one buys the products.

This is one of the reasons many small businesses fail within the first five years.

Due to a lack of marketing knowledge, small business owners rely on the same marketing tactics used years ago. By now, you should know the same old, same old doesn’t sell the way it used to.

In Search of Originality: Avoid These Overused Words
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

One of the key components of branding is to create your own language.

Every now and then a cool word trend comes along and for a while it’s good… until it gets overused and the thing that was once the coolest is now the most UNcoolest and overused.

It’s better to cash out your chips while you’re still going strong. Check out the list of words below. If you’re thinking about using them… my advice is to hold off and find something else. Instead, find something unique and original that will catch the attention of your ideal clients.

Three Essentials to Successfully Breaking Into a New Market
Terri Zwierzynski - The Solo-CEO: Content Marketing Strategist

When my 12 year-old daughter’s new soccer team’s coach announced this was his first foray into coaching girls, I was initially hesitant. After all, there is a big difference between the approach needed to keep a rowdy group of teenage boys in line, and the nurturing and patience required to bolster the confidence of a hormonal group of pubescent girls while simultaneously keeping them from each others’ throats. (Okay, this is an exaggerated generalization, but you get the idea!)

But I am slowly warming up to the new coach — and while I’m still not entirely comfortable, there are a number of factors that have swayed my opinion, and have a parallel in the entrepreneurial world. Here are what I think are critical elements to address if you are considering growing your brand by branching out into new markets:

Gratitude and Abundance
Lisa Bloom - Speaker, Author, Coach, Storyteller

It is traditional to wear white.

To make a garland of flowers for your hair.

The children each carry a small basket of fruit decorated with flowers.

We meet with the other families to celebrate, dance and sing the traditional songs and I am full of gratitude for the beauty of the tradition, but more so, for the abundance that is so present in my life.

What Do You Need to Shed For the New You to Emerge?
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

Whenever I go to Creative Bagel Time (many of you know this is what I affectionately call my morning reflection time) at this certain cafe, I’ve been noticing a lizard climbing around on the wrought-iron fence. Every time I go there and sit outside – he’s there. It seems like he is eagerly waiting for me to show up to make an appearance or just wanting to stop by to say “hello.”
Of course, I’m always on the lookout for JoyFlow Sightings and synchronicities, and so I wanted more information on lizards. Here’s what one reference book has to say about lizards in mythology: “In Graeco-Egyptian myth, the lizard is an animal which has to do with the mystical transformation of the soul.”

Let’s see … “transformation of the soul”? Perfect message! Absolutely!

Better Marketing Made Easier
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

Twenty years ago, marketing used to be about direct mail campaigns, going door to door and producing infomercials.

Today, marketing is a little different. Instead of looking for a product just to solve a problem, customers are looking for value. This value can take many forms, such as offering help, being available and even staying consistent to your word. It’s about making connections and having conversations BEFORE the conversions.

Not only have the marketing techniques changed over the past couple decades, but the marketing strategies have also adjusted to fit the times. Here are just some that you should consider.
