Congruence And Self Sabatoge
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

In The One Minute Millionaire, authors Hansen and Allen state that in order for success to be achieved one must establish congruence. Congruence is when things come into alignment, but not just arbitrary things, three very specific things. First, your desire…you have to want it. Second, your belief…you have to believe (have faith) that you can get it. Lastly, self-acceptance… you have to know and feel that you deserve to have it.

They sound simple, and it’s easy to understand the reasoning behind them, but this is why so much self-sabotage occurs. One thinks that they’re in alignment, while suppressing a tiny niggling fear or question of doubt. Just one such doubt or a wishy-washy thought on one of any of the three key areas is enough to de-rail your success.

Treat Your Signature Like an Article-Marketing Resource Box
Marty Marsh - Follow-Up & Stay-In-Touch Marketing Strategist

Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been cleaning out my inbox by unsubscribing from a whole bunch of lists that I’m on for various reasons but that aren’t really providing me any value. I’m doing this now because I dont want Doreen, my VA, to have to slog through a whole bunch of useless emails while Im away.

Most of the emails I’m unsubscribing from are those from people who only send hyped up marketing messages and otherwise provide no real value to me. One thing I’m realizing is that I’ve totally forgotten who most of these people are and why I’m on their lists in the first place. I’m most likely on those lists because I bought something, but I have no idea what.

Biz Success Strategies — Are You On a High or a Low?
Michele Pariza Wacek (Michele PW) - Love-Based Biz Strategist and Copywriter

At one of Alex Mandossian’s Teleseminar Secrets Reunions, we did a “timeline” exercise. Alex started it by charting his highlights and lowlights from the past 20 years. It was fascinating to see this laid out for us and to know even someone like Alex was in the abyss at a couple of points.

Even more importantly, I learned 2 important takeaways I wanted to share with you.

The first came from one of the participants. He remarked that the timeline exercise really put things in perspective. These were simply events, not good or bad. They were neutral. Whether you’re in bankruptcy or just broke the 7-figure mark, it’s just an event. A fact.

Your Reputation and Your Visibility Go Hand in Hand
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

Online visibility can be a nebulous term at times… yes it’s about being seen so people know about you and can buy from you, but it’s also about what people associate you with when they see you. I call it the emotional imprint your brand, business, and message leave on others so they not only see you, but they remember you.

There are a few directions your visibility can take you. One is how your customers see you. That’s where you want to build the know-like-trust factor so people will buy from you.

7 Small Tweaks to Stay Connected to Your Customers Any Time of Day
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

One of the advantages of having a business online is that you can earn money any time of day. Technology enables you to bill and even respond to people while you’re sleeping, hanging out with your family, planning your business and simply enjoying life. However, in order to earn money around the clock and build your business, it’s important to be connected to your customers around the clock.

But it doesn’t have to be complex.  Here are seven small tweaks to help you  become more connected to your customers online 24/7.

1. Automate blog posts. Blogging is a great way to connect with your audience on a very personal level.  The great thing about blog technology is that you can write your blog posts in advance and schedule them to be posted each day, thus enhancing your customer contact. As a matter of fact, this blog post was written and schedule two weeks in advance because I am on vacation.

Check Your Grades on HubSpot and Increase Your Marketing Reach
Paula Eder - The Time Finder Expert, Founder of Finding Time

Finding time to check how well your blog and/or website interfaces with the world wide web is often a very easy way to increase your marketing reach.  That’s because sometimes a simple tweak of a keyword or two, or the formatting of a link … you name it … can have a very big impact on your SEO.

That’s why I ask my VA to periodically test our sites, both Finding Time (website) and The Time Finder (blog) to see how we are doing.

How do we do that?

We use the various Grader Tools that are available from HubSpot.  These are free tools that review and grade your web page or blog (as well as your Twitter account, Facebook profile or business page, etc.)  HubSpot also has a wealth of other resources that you may find very helpful and intriguing.

How to Get Around The 3 Social Media Roadblocks
Michele A Scism - Small Business Consultant and Marketing Strategist

I was reading a blog post about social media and saw a comment that grabbed my attention,  “I decided to give up on social media because the road blocks were too enormous.”  I started to wonder what road blocks?  Thinking back to when I started I think there are 3 possible road blocks.

Road Block #1 – Where to get started

I think that it is a safe bet to say that most people just have no clue were to get started when it comes to social media. This sounds scarier than it is – to avoid this road block you have to educate yourself. Did you know how to use your new Blackberry or IPhone the moment you got it? No – there was a learning curve and social media is no different. There are plenty of training programs. They simply require time and money.

Michele A Scism - Small Business Consultant and Marketing Strategist

The next round of the Ultimate Blog Challenge is starting in October. One of the main goals of joining a blog challenge is to connect with other bloggers and drive traffic to your website.
A lot of the bloggers that are joining the challenge use social media to promote their blog posts. Twitter in particular is a fantastic way to promote your blog because once you tweet about your blog post then hopefully your twitter friends re-tweet it and before you know it hundreds even thousands have seen the tweet about your post.

Trusting the “Voice”
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

One difficulty that I have found people have is that they are not sure how to proceed toward a goal. They have followed the steps of the Law of Attraction. They set a goal, they are sending positive energy toward it, and they believe that they will achieve their goal through the power of attraction. Once they have done this, they are not sure how to proceed.

In these days of technology, a wonderful gadget has hit the market and is growing in popularity, a Global Positioning Satellite System, or GPS. This unit comes in many forms but its function is basically the same. It first determines where you are. This is done through satellites orbiting the earth. Then you can program where you want to go. The unit then uses the information of where you are and can point you toward where you want to go and even tell you the quickest way to get there.

How to Show Off Your Popular Blog Posts
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

One of the “beyond the basics” plugins I’m running on my blog is PostRank.  I use it to show off the “hot” posts on my website.

Why might you want to show off your popular posts?

  • You want readers to find your best content fast
  • You know your readers themselves are the ones who determine what’s “best”
  • You realize that if they can find more of your best content easily, they’re more likely to stick around and keep reading

So how can you figure out which posts are popular?  Enter PostRank.
