Quickly Establish Credibility with Your Compelling Story
Fabienne Fredrickson - Founder of (Previously

Everyone likes a good story. This is especially true in business when you tell the passion-filled story of your success. That’s because listeners are captivated, aching to imagine their own success story too.

What is a Compelling Story?

Many entrepreneurs can actually point to a specific, defining moment or a series of determining events that brought them to where they are today. This is the foundation supporting your achievements which can provide you with instant credibility among your prospects.

For me, my compelling story is the tale of how I went from struggling financially because I didn’t have enough clients to a full practice, bursting at the seams in just eight months. The remarkable turnaround happened as I began learning everything I could about marketing, networking and managing my business. The end result was creating my own Client Attraction System™ which helped me to completely vanquish the intense worry that kept me up at 3am.

Find Time to Build Your Brave Muscles With a Daily Courage Workout
Paula Eder - The Time Finder Expert, Founder of Finding Time

Finding time requires you to act with clarity and assertiveness every day in big and small ways.  So it helps to remember that courage can be cultivated on a daily basis.

And just like getting into shape, cultivating your courage is a step-by-step process.  Each effort you invest provides a base for your next step.  Looked at that way, each step is a triumph!

So, as with any big goal, remind yourself that courage is usually gradually acquired, not dramatically seized.

Courage is flexible, too. You grow best when you accept setbacks, correcting your course as needed. And because courage brings you face to face with the unknown, you can expect surprises. So, build in time to accommodate them.

Ad Swapping to Grow Your List
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

Looking for a targeted way to grow your list? Try ad swapping.

In its simplest terms, ad swapping means two marketers trade ads and cross promote each other to their respective subscribers. The greatest benefits to ad swapping are that there’s no charge for this type of cross promotion and you have the potential to reach many more people in your target audience.

However, not all lists are created equally so you need to do some research before entering into a cross promotion agreement.

As with any marketing plan, the purpose of ad swapping is to extend your reach to your target audience and motivate them to subscribe. Then, as you build your relationship with your subscribers, they will know, like and trust you enough to purchase your products or your recommended affiliate products, thus earning you money.

Find Time and Courage to Move Ahead by Letting Go: 3 Timely Tips
Paula Eder - The Time Finder Expert, Founder of Finding Time

Finding time is all about saying No to one thing to say Yes to another, as I often say.  The No that you say to one thing is what actually makes your Yes to something else possible, and meaningful.  It’s all about how you make your time choices.

So, let’s pause for a moment.  How do you feel about your time choices so far today?  Don’t come from a critical place or you’ll clam up.  Just let yourself feel.

Are there choices you’d like to change?  Most of us are going to say yes to that … but before you start thinking about how you want to change those choices, let’s pause again.

Ask yourself, what is it that, for YOU, leads you to want to change how you use your time?

What’s the Best Way to Ask for Testimonials?
Michele Pariza Wacek (Michele PW) - Love-Based Biz Strategist and Copywriter

“My question is the following: I just launched my business and want to ask for testimonials from women, but I know they need some guidance because it is not common here to ask for testimonials.  [She’s from Uruguay.] Should I ask them questions or have them complete sentences? If so, what kind of questions or sentences do you recommend?”

Luz Mara Sande

Since your clients aren’t used to being asked for testimonials, you may want to try a few strategies. Asking questions is a great place to start. A few questions to try would be:

Networking upped your intake of rubber chicken, but you never had a strategy for what to do with all these new lunchmates.

Solopreneurs – There Are No Cinderella Stories!

In college basketball, the term, “Cinderella Story,” is often used for the underdog who comes out of nowhere to win the prize. It is a romantic idea about rising from the ashes and winning the prince or prize.

Ponder what it takes to win a championship or bring home a gold medal.

The C.A.S.H is in the Collaboration
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

One of my platinum clients asked a brilliant question this past weekend, “How do I take advantage of all of the different kinds of people I know in order to help my business. For example, I have friends that work in fashion, beauty and in retail stores. But I don’t know how to ask them to support my business since they aren’t exactly my ideal clients.”

Perhaps this shows up in your own business. You have many successful friends and family members, but you aren’t quite sure how to involve them in your business. But you know if you could just find a way to ask them to help, they would be more than happy to assist.

The key is to get creative.
