Disconnect.me: Privacy and Speed to Save Online Time
Paula Eder - The Time Finder Expert, Founder of Finding Time

Disconnect.me is a Chrome extension that my VA read about this weekend and thought might be helpful to share with readers here.

I took a look and agreed, so here’s a little information about Disconnect.me – and you can read a full review on Mashable, if you’d like.

Disconnect.me:  What it does

Hundreds of websites track your searching and surfing data on-line.  For businesses, this can provide very helpful information; but for those who are also concerned about their privacy, it can feel like an invasion.  Disconnect.me allows you to have a hand in deciding how your data is tracked on-line.

Before we look at how Disconnect.me works, however, here’s a look at how many tracking sites are checking your data when you visit a site like MSNBC.com.

Your Power is In One Word – WHY
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

There is one thing I’m repeatedly asked in my sales conversations with potential clients – “What can you do to help me make the process of growing my business easier?”. ID-10079655-300x225

My answer is, “We need to give your business and LIFE a WHY plan”.

Once I meet with my clients for their first Jumpstart Session I begin to get to know them, their goals and the reasons behind why they have or want to have a business.

As entrepreneurs or ones in the making, we get wrapped up in the day to day details and forget the BIG Picture – the reasons why we want a business to begin with.

Spring Cleaning and You: 3 Timely Tips
Paula Eder - The Time Finder Expert, Founder of Finding Time

Spring cleaning can be many things to many people.  The energy that you bring to it has a profound effect on how it feels to you.

Spring Cleaning:  How Do You See It?

For some, spring cleaning is one of those  energizing seasonal rituals that opens up possibilities.  As you let in sunshine and fresh air, and clear out debris and clutter, you let go of an old season and make room for the new!  You are taking charge of this transition … and celebrating it!

Approached as a chore, however, spring cleaning tasks are likely to feel like … well … chores.  And if you add in the fact that you have limited time and energy to devote to decluttering and spring cleaning, you can start feeling overwhelmed by the whole process.

How to Brainstorm New Ways to Monetize Your Business
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

How has the first four months of the new year been going for you and your business?

Are you looking for new ways to add money and profits to your business? Do things seem to be floundering a bit or even slowing down?

If you’re seeing your profits plateau, it can be a concern, and spring is good time to look ahead and plan for the upcoming months and your future. Let’s explore a few ways to brainstorm monetization ideas.

#1 Mind Map It

A mind map is a brainstorming and planning tool. You place your central idea or goal in the center of the page. In this case it would be monetization ideas. You then create branches, like spokes on a wheel. Each new branch or spoke extends to an idea or idea category. For example, you might create the following spokes: customer needs, affiliate income, information products and so on. You can then list specifics under each category. Mind maps are useful brainstorming tools. When you use a simple pen and paper, a mind map encourages creative, non-linear thinking.

Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

Have you ever stood in front of the display cabinet at a bakery and just felt overwhelmed by the choices?

What happened? Did you settle for something much less than you wanted or came in for? Did you just walk away without buying anything?
