Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

This Christmas, countless kids are going to find shiny new bikes under their Christmas trees. I remember walking into the livingroom as a 6 year old girl and finding the coolest Schwinn bike with a flowered banana seat, sissy bar, and basket! Oh I was in heaven, except for one thing.

I didn’t know how to ride a bike yet.

Being Grateful: How To Stop Beating Yourself Up.
Admin Text-Only Editing - Text Only Admin

Around this time of year – there are three paths you can take. You can be grateful for what this year brought you. Or you can be disappointed that you aren’t further along or didn’t do more. Or you can be some combination of the two.

Most of us are a combination of the two.

The best way to stay in a space of gratitude is to look back at your starting line. Where were you a year ago? It is so easy to get caught up in looking at the finish line, the next goals, where you want to be. Or where you wanted to be. Then you determine that you aren’t there yet.

Paula Eder - The Time Finder Expert, Founder of Finding Time

Anger is a challenging emotion. It’s also a very human emotion.  Take a moment, right now, and think about the last time you felt angry about something.

Got this interesting question from someone who subscribes to my newsletter.

“Justin, What is the one financial thing that you would do right now if you were a business owner?”

Me: Oh Jeez. THE One thing? It’s so hard to come up with THE one thing to do right now, in mid December.

Here are 3 ways to do it:

1) Befriend a competitor. Explore collaborations and refer unwanted business.

2) Ask for help. Find a group of peers to turn to when you need help.

3) Give credit where credit is due. Get good ideas from others & don’t be ashamed to admit it!
