If you’ve been in business for a few years, then you know what it’s like to get into a rut. Most of the time we tend to get stuck because we reinforce the negative voices in our mind.

There was a time when I found myself saying things like “Why can’t I be like so and so?” or “Why can’t I be more successful?” or “What’s wrong with my business strategies?”

These inner messages keep us from getting what we really want in career, business and life. I know because like most I was stuck at one time in my life.

Ultimately, I made a ‘radical decision’ to change every aspect of my life and then wrote an Amazon best seller to help others find their game-changing strategies for success.

So here are my top ten strategies:

1) Delegate everything.
Take the time to evaluate your biggest moneymaking activities (e.g.: marketing, sales, community, client services, etc.) and then be very ruthless about committing your time to the things that make you the most money.

Outsource or hire the right people to do other things like scheduling, bookkeeping, organizing your office, running errands, etc.

2) Price based on value.
If you provide a service, trading hours for dollars doesn’t work when you want to build wealth. Price your services based on the value that your client receive… not on the amount of time that you have to put into the project.

3) Learn and grow.
Listen, listen, listen and do whatever you can to learn, learn, and learn. You can listen to CDs while driving or while traveling by plane. You can take books to the gym to read on the elliptical or treadmill or while waiting for appointments or at the doctor’s or dentist’s office.

Why not hire a nutritionist to help you eat better, a trainer to help you workout more effectively, or a coach to help you perfect your GSA FactorÔ (growth, success and acceleration).

Anything you learn to enhance your skills and knowledge, better your health, or improve your mindset will pay off three- to four-fold.

4) Focus on what you want.
Begin to set intentions for every quarter of the year. I use a journal, spreadsheets, vision board and my branding/marketing plan.

When you focus on all of the good things that you want in life (e.g.: an awesome mate, a healthy body, more ideal clients, added money to your bank account, and so on), it’s remarkable what begin to show up in your life.

5) Pay yourself first.
Whether you are making $20,000/year, or $200,000/year, or 1,000,000/year – always pay yourself first. Set aside money every week in an interest-bearing savings account or in some type of investment. Don’t forget to set aside another group of monies for professional/personal development.

6) Stay in touch.
If there are people that you meet on social media, at a professional organization gathering or a conference – build a relationship so that when the times comes you can draw on their expertise. You’ll be surprised at how much valuable information you’ll garner this way.

In the future, when these people reach out to you to hire you, refer you, provide you with a great business deal, or suggest a joint venture. Many great things will come your way simply by building professional relationship.

7) Review and envision your plan everyday.
You can use affirmations, your journal, spreadsheets, vision board or your branding/marketing plan. The key is everyday – seeing is believing that you will have your intentions.

8) Take one step at a time.
Success has nothing to do with luck, but it has everything to do with being relentless and consistent. When you hit a wall, back up and go in a different direction (up, down, over, left or right). Stay focused on your intentions and don’t ever give up. Every problem has a myriad of solutions – keeping trying until you find the ones that works.

9) Be the best.
Developing your skill sets and your reputation in your industry is powerful. It will set you apart from your competitors and your ideal clients will begin to seek YOU out. If you have hurdles to overcome, hire a coach to work through your challenges. Always strive to be the best brand possible.

10) Take big calculated risks.
People who are wealthy, have thriving businesses, or have abundance in their lives were all willing to make large leaps in the directions that scare them the most.

If it doesn’t scare you, it’s probably not stretching you enough. Make decisions quickly and move appropriately. Yes, sometimes it won’t work out, but other times – WOW – it’s that home run that sets you apart.

Remember, the more you invest in yourself, the greater your Return On Investment (ROI).
