Time management tips work so much better when you’re fresh and revitalized! Want to cultivate an inner sanctuary to generate more personal power? It’s easier than you might think.
By “power sanctuary” I mean an inner haven you can travel to at a moment’s notice. You use it to renew yourself and to perceive what goes on around you more clearly. Here, you recharge your vitality and develop quiet confidence. In this space, your heart speaks its deepest wisdom. You relax, accept yourself, and honor your uniqueness! Loyalty to yourself feeds your courage and illuminates new potentials. You emerge from your sanctuary with renewed ease and decisiveness.
Consider it an essential indulgence. Envision what a mini power sanctuary would look like and feel like to you… soften, and breathe in clear, calm energy. As you create this wellspring of rejuvenation, you can draw on it throughout your day. You’ll stay much more focused, optimistic, centered and productive.
Here are a few simple tips for you:
1. Tune into your unique ideal environment with exquisite focus.
Immerse yourself in the pleasure of it… the swirl of colors, fragrances, and sounds.
2. Begin to assemble touchstones to guide you within.
You can use these to evoke your inner hideaway in the midst of a busy day. If a recorded visualization helps you travel inward, keep it on hand. Something as simple as a tune you can hum, a poem, or a photo can open a peaceful path to your center, too.
3. Patiently travel to your haven as often as you can.
It takes discipline, of course, yet it gives you power. You might start by setting aside ten to fifteen minutes daily to remain undisturbed. Ideally, do this the same time in the same place each day. Then, you establish an internal rhythm that your body rises to meet. As you become more practiced, you can recreate this sanctuary on the spot, anywhere.
Perhaps you’ve found it pleasurable simply to read about this. Think how much more you can flourish by making this a part of your daily life! When you enrich yourself with your intuition, you can align your time choices with your deepest values. Restoring your realism and optimism becomes so much easier! And the more you do it, the more inspired you will become to maintain this exercise in mindfulness and celebration of your potential year-round!
So learn how to take time and space to yourself, so you can enjoy the benefits of this wonderful inner resource, every day of your life.
