Here is my best list of strategies for growth and success in business:
1. Why not chose a counter-intuitive strategy – do not cut back as dramatically as a lot of other businesses are doing. Instead why not retain your talent base (team) and implement an assertive sales and marketing program.
The outcome could be that you are well positioned to take advantage of the improved economic and market conditions.
2. Consider growing your brand in a short time frame by creating a product that fills a void in the marketplace. Listen to your customers directly via social media and respond to what they and need.
If they tell you that they want any additional week in your mastermind program, try to incorporate the additional week if it would benefit the group as a whole. Create a great product at a great price point is always a plus.
3. Look for ways to add value to any project you touch, and that includes considering market sectors where you feel you can have a competitive advantage and excel in your core presence. This is how you can expand your current expertise.
4. Consider hiring the very best people you can find and then give them room to grow and stand out. Give your team a high level of ownership over their individual responsibilities and allow them to be creative – you might be surprised and what they can contribute.
