Communicating with your Virtual Assistant is the only way you’ll see success between her and your business. If you don’t have it, you may find things aren’t done properly, things change and she isn’t aware of it, or you need something done more quickly than originally thought. With lack of communication, you’ll find deadlines are missed and things aren’t done properly.

There are four ways to communicate with your Virtual Assistant. When you use one or more of them you’ll find the communication is the way it needs to be and your tasks are getting completed when you want them completed.

1. Email

You’ll find email is one of the best ways to communicate with your Virtual Assistant. Most smart phones give you the ability to check your email easily and quickly, so it’s possible to have email within a few minutes on your phone. This will help you to communicate with your Virtual Assistant no matter where you are at the time and what you’re doing.

2. Phone

The phone is another great way to communicate with your Virtual Assistant. You can communicate with her while on the go, and at times it’s easier to talk about projects or tasks than it is to go back and forth over email. Sometimes it’s too much to type everything out when a five minute conversation is all that’s needed to make it happen.

3. Skype

There are times when a five minute conversation just isn’t enough. If that happens, or if you feel daily or weekly calls with your Virtual Assistant are needed, your phone bill can go through the roof. To avoid paying huge amounts of fees, Skype is an option. It’s done through the computer and doesn’t require a headset or money.

4. Text

There are times when an email is sent or a quick question needs an answer, but how do you handle it right away? A text may be an option. If you’ve ever sent an email that needed to be answered immediately, only for your Virtual Assistant be out and about and not realize the email came in, then you know what happens if it’s not answered right away. A simple text can let her know it’s there and needs to be handled right away.

There are several other ways for you to communicate with your Virtual Assistant, but these are the most popular and the easiest to use. When you use one or more of these ways and you use them regularly, you’ll see success and you’ll see fewer problems. You’ll see deadlines are achieved and problems are solved easily and quickly.
