You need to let go of the old to welcome in the new.
This is something we’ve heard over and over. And, more than that, it makes sense. After all, if there’s no space for the new, where would it fit?
But, yet, it’s still difficult to let go of the old. Even if we don’t like or want the old, it’s still familiar to us. Not only that, the skeptics among us may even be concerned that even if we don’t like what we have, what we get in its place could be a lot worse.
Eventually, however, we reach a point where we realize it’s time to release the old and make room for the new — as painful and as uncomfortable as that may be.
At least, that’s what happens to me.
So, what am I releasing? Actually it’s a few things, but what I wanted to talk about today is around my blog.
I’m being called to step into a new way of blogging.
I’m not sure what it looks like, but what I WILL tell you is I want my blog to be more transformational. While of course there will always be great content, I want it to be deeper than just content. I want to help you grow and transform — both in your business and your life.
This is both exciting and scary at the same time. What if it doesn’t work? What if I fall flat on my face? What if I succeed even bigger than my wildest dreams?
Since I’m not entirely sure what this is going to look like, you may see some interesting things on the blog over the next few months as I test things out to see what happens (and sort out the direction I want to go). However, I still plan to continue both this column and Life, Biz and The Pursuit of Happiness.
