Calling all BLOGGERS!! It is time for the Ultimate Blog Challenge again. If you haven’t participated in the blog challenge yet, you might be thinking “What the heck is a blog challenge?” or “Why would I want to add another challenge to my life?”. Both questions are legit so sit back and let me tell you a little about why you should be participating in our blog challenge.
What is a Blog Challenge?
It is a super cool and fun way to get the word out about your blog. In the simplest terms as the blogger you commit to post 30 blog posts (on your own blog) in the 30 days of April (doesn’t have to be 1 a day – just 30 in 30 days) and support your fellow bloggers by re-tweeting their posts, reading and commenting and sharing on other forms of social media.
I was just searching through my prior posts about the blog challenges and found a great post called “Blog Challenge or Marketing a Blog?”. You can click here to read it – it will give you a better idea about how to use the blog challenge.
Why Would You Want to add Another Challenge to Your Life?
Well we have spoken to many of our blog challenge participants and we have found that there are really 5 main reasons people love the blog challenge:
- Accountability – could you use someone to help you stay on track?
- To make connections and interact with other amazing bloggers.
- Love to read the other blog posts.
- Want to create a daily habit.
- Want to set an example for their clients.
This is the fourth time that my co-host Michelle Shaeffer and I will be hosting the Ultimate Blog Challenge. Each time we have had close to 400 bloggers attempt the challenge with us. The super cool news is that we have a lot of bloggers who have blogged with us during each challenge.
The challenge starts April 1st (yes I know what day that is-LOL) and you should sign up now. Even if you have blogged with us before you have to signed up again. Everyone who joins us gets a free copy of our e-book “7 Ways to Get Your Blog in Motion” and you get a daily blogging idea email from us.
Check out this great video that Michelle Shaeffer made for the challenge:
