How often do you email your list? I was working with one of my clients the other day and she said she stopped trying to add people to her list because she wasn’t emailing them anyway. OMG – did you know that the majority of people who start to build a list NEVER send an email to the people on their list?
I hope this isn’t you but if it is, WHY aren’t you emailing your list?
“I don’t want to bother them.”
“I don’t know what to say.”
“It’s been so long they probably won’t remember that they got on my list.”
“I’m afraid they will unsubscribe if I email them.”
You’ve taken the time to set up your optin. You’ve created a freebie. You’ve even got people that said “Yes, here’s my email address – please send me your stuff.”
And here is what I know – you don’t have the sequences set up so that the process is automated.
Here are the 4 email sequences you need to have set up in your business.

When someone requests your freebie, does your nurture sequence start that automatically sends them a few emails over the next couple of weeks? By the way this is sequence #1.
When someone makes a purchase from you, are they automatically added to a sequence that sends them emails to teach them more about their product, FAQs, ideas about what other things they need to go with it? This is called a purchase sequence and it’s sequence #2.
How many times do you launch programs or products? Do you create an email campaign to market to your list or do you just send them a one-off email? Do you find yourself constantly recreating these sequences? This is called a launch sequence and it’s sequence #3.
How is your newsletter going? Are you sending it consistently? To reduce opt-outs you should send your newsletter no less than 2 times a month. I send mine weekly. This is your general sequence and it’s sequence #4.
I get it! This whole email marketing thing is a scary situation. What do you write? How many do you send out? How do you know when to send them out?
