I am tired of many so-called marketing coaches not knowing (or perhaps caring) about marketing strategy. I’ve heard once too often the ‘shame blame game’ where if their coaching client is not making money it’s due to their marketing.
The fact is marketing has nothing to do with making sales. And in this video Cherry Bomb, I explain why:
Remember, marketing is NOT sales.
Marketing generates leads. Selling generates the cash!
And some statistics:
- 67% more leads per month are generated by companies who blog
- Social media and blogs reach eight out of ten Internet users in the US.
- Email is still the best way to market.
- Marketers are using about 12 tactics, on average.
