Along life’s journey, I have developed five personal core values. They represent the things I want to have in my life. I always review these core values as I establish new intentions. They are:
Love. It is the central theme in my life. I want and need love, and I have a lot of love to give. Love for life, for people, for nature, for the things I do, and so on. But most important is my love for God, family, and friends.
Fun. I love laughing, and I love to do fun things, with others and at times alone. Time is too precious not to have fun, but it’s so easy to let this one slip away. Sometimes we’re just too serious, and it’s so easy to get caught in that atmosphere of “seriousness.”
Freedom. It is a core value that’s really important to me. I place significance on all facets of life, from the physical freedom of movement to the mental freedom of thought and decisions and everything between.
Authenticity. It is the things I do, the things that connect to who I am. Knowing my standard and having a clear direction in my life are part of my authenticity.
Growth. It is so critical. I’m fascinated by my intentions and potential. I love the energy and creativity associated with fulfilling my intentions and then helping others to achieve remarkable growth.
Your personal core values may differ from mine, and that’s okay–just make sure that you have established core values that suit your lifestyle. Always have a Strategic Success Plan for your Life
