You go shopping to find that perfect shirt that will go with your new pair of jeans.
You try everything on. Nothing really works.
You finally find that perfect shirt. It looks SO good on you. Right?
In fact, you want to wear it tonight – to this swanky party you’re going to.
Time to get dressed.
You take it out of that gigantic bag. But it still has that big plastic security tag on!
The stoo-pid guy behind the register forgot to take the security tag off!!!
Now you have to go back to the store. Like you have nothing better to do.
You bought something that was just right – but then after you bought it – it was a total letdown. And a major waste of your time.
I see so many business owners focus on the build up TO the sale.
But they don’t think about what happens AFTER the sale.
And they don’t want to think about investing any money into their customer’s experience after the sale.
I tried something a few weeks ago, it worked for me, and I want you to learn.
So keep reading before you check out.
I run a group coaching program for women business owners called Get Your Numbers.
It’s a 6 week course. Just me teaching women how to be smart with their money – in a very safe non judgmental environment.
Anyway, this time around, I decided to give them a bottle of wine wrapped in a shoe wine holder.
I’ve been know to say, have a glass of wine with me and let’s talk numbers and business.
Plus, I’m all about getting the shoes and getting what you want!
I’m just trying to take the edge off the stress and overwhelm in dealing with money.
It gave the ladies a feeling that they can actually have fun and enjoy the numbers in a fun way.
They loved the wine and shoe gift.
I got a bunch of referrals. From the class.
I invested money in making the women feel good after they bought my product.
Here were the costs:
Shoe holder $50
So I invested $120 per person.
That’s the kind of investment I would make.
So…. How strategic are you with your money? And where are you going for advice?
Shameless plug. You’ve made it to the bottom of this blog – you should reach out to me.
